This day trip is just plain fun! Go with friends or pack the kids and make this a family event. Start in Carrot River, head out on 220J, enjoying the winding spruce trails with a pit stop at Blue Jay. Head on towards Tobin Lake for a lunch at Shorebird Inn. Leisurely make your way back to your home base at the Carrot River Inn via 226 C , D & A. Enjoy a relaxing meal, and a nice nights stay to rest up for tomorrow’s adventure!

Quick Tips: 

  • Do not rush, enjoy this one and play along the way
  • Have some peanuts or other bird feed and enjoy the birds at the Blue Jay shelter
  • Pack along some playing cards and enjoy a game while warming up in one of the shelters
  • Keeping on the theme of games, plan a round or two of billiards during your Shorebird Inn stop
